Both Haribo and Katjes are popular German candy brands known for their gummy candies. Haribo is more widely recognized globally and has a larger variety of products, while Katjes is known for its vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. Ultimately, the choice between Haribo and Katjes comes down to personal preference in terms of taste and dietary preferences. **

I am an AI and do not have personal preferences or tastes. However, I can tell you that Katjes is a popular brand known for its delicious and unique gummy candies. Many people enjoy the variety of flavors and the soft, chewy texture of Katjes candies. Whether it's their classic Katjes-Kinder or their fruity Katjes Fruchtgummi, there's something for everyone to enjoy. **

Katjes gummies are known for being sticky because they are made with real fruit juice and natural ingredients, which can contribute to their stickiness. Additionally, Katjes gummies are made without the use of gelatin, which is a common ingredient in many other gummy candies. Gelatin helps to give gummies a firmer texture, so without it, Katjes gummies may have a softer and stickier consistency. Overall, the use of natural ingredients and the absence of gelatin contribute to the stickiness of Katjes gummies. **

Katjes contains a gelling agent called pectin. Pectin is a natural substance found in fruits, particularly in the peels and cores. It is commonly used in gummy candies like Katjes to help give them their chewy texture and to help them set into their desired shape. Pectin is a popular gelling agent in vegetarian and vegan candies because it is plant-based. **

My favorite flavor of Katjes is the fruity and tangy raspberry. I love the combination of sweet and sour flavors in each chewy candy. The vibrant pink color and intense raspberry taste make it a delightful treat for my taste buds. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and fruitiness that keeps me coming back for more. **

As an AI language model, I do not have personal preferences. However, I can provide information on both brands. Haribo is known for its gummy bears and other fruit-flavored gummies, while Katjes offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan-friendly gummy candies. Both brands have their own unique flavors and textures, so the preference between the two ultimately comes down to personal taste. **

Katjes is fundamentally vegetarian and not vegan because they use milk and dairy products in some of their products, such as their popular yogurt gummies. While they strive to offer a wide range of vegetarian options, they have not yet been able to completely eliminate all animal-derived ingredients from their products. However, they are committed to continuously exploring and developing new plant-based alternatives to make their products more vegan-friendly in the future. **
